I strongly recommend Jay Holland at Wagner Realty as your choice for a realtor if you’re considering a move to the Bradenton/Sarasota area. I have bought three times in the last 13 years, and this was by far the biggest and most difficult move to make, as we relocated from the Northeast. Thanks to Jay, our experience was seamless and better than expected. From day one, Jay not only had our best interest in mind, but he consistently went above and beyond with anything we needed and asked. During our numerous Zoom virtual tours with Jay at the beginning of the transition, he not only took us through every portion of a specific house, front to back, inside and outside, but he also drove around the neighborhood so we really had a good grasp of what an entire community looked like. When I arrived in Florida, we followed up on some homes to view them in person a second time. Jay always offered an insider’s perspective of the area, which was huge for us who were brand new. After making an offer, Jay proactively dealt with issues as they came up which made it easy on us. When our offer was accepted, he saw the whole process through to closing and beyond, when he assisted in helping fix a few problems the sellers left for us to do. Any time I had a question or inquiry, he would respond by text or email within a few hours. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Jay Holland of Wagner Realty. I’ve had three realtors, and he’s been the best so far, hands down. I was very nervous with such a big move ahead of us from the northeast down to Florida. But thank God we used Jay Holland of Wagner Realty. I’m not sure where we would be right now without Jay’s guidance and leadership throughout this move. Beginning with Zoom home visits to in-person appointments once we arrived in the Sunshine State, he was spot on with every detail and kept us informed on what we needed to do in a timely fashion. Even when the other party and realtor dropped the ball, Jay picked it up and made sure everything remained in order so we can close as soon as possible. I can’t tell you what a relief it was to have someone not only on top of his game as a realtor but also someone like Jay who knows the area in and out, as he is from Palmetto/Bradenton. Anything we needed, from community info to recommendations to must see spots, Jay was able to educate us. We were able to focus on things for our home and for our new jobs while Jay did the rest. The piece of mind he provided was necessary and needed. We’ve had other realtors for other smaller, local moves, and they were not nearly as good or detailed as Jay was in handling a much larger scale move. For that, we are forever thankful to him. Buying a home can be very stressful, but Jay made the whole process as smooth and easy as possible. He explained the process and was always a step ahead of the situation. We had an issue with the inspection and Jay had it resolved in about 2 hours. He also planted a mongo tree in our back yard so it would be a "gift that kept on giving each summer".
